Healthcare software, South Africa

Software for South African practices, pharmacies and hospitals, under your name.

Prescribe, dispense, record and share care on one patient identity. Your logo, your colours and your web address on every screen.

Patient or health professional? Your Health Vault log-in has not moved.

Five suites

Start with one. Add the rest when you are ready.

Every suite sits on the same patient identity, so adding a module never means re-typing a patient.

All tiers

How it connects

One patient record, from the front desk to the Health Vault.

A patient is registered once. Everything that happens next attaches to that same identity, and the patient sees it in their own vault.

Member cards and staff cards

A card in every phone, with your logo on it.

Members carry a digital card. Your staff carry a verified ID card. Neither one ever signs anyone in.

See Kiros Member Cards

Member card

  • In the member's own phone, opens after sign-in and works offline
  • Anyone who scans sees only "valid member" and a first name and initial
  • Signed-in staff see a view for their own job, such as the account and repeats at the pharmacy or check-in at reception
  • No ID or medical-aid numbers on it, and a lost phone means a re-issued card

Staff card

  • A scan shows "Verified staff"; clinicians also show their name, role and HPCSA number to check on iRegister
  • Stops working the moment the staff role is removed
  • It is for ID only and never signs anyone in
  • Shared practice computers use phone sign-in. Staff pick the two-digit number on their phone and approve with Face ID or fingerprint

Included in the Pharmacy and Patient Unlimited packages. Every scan is logged. Google Wallet is planned, with no date yet. See the packages

White label

Your practice name on every screen, script and label.

Patients see your name on everything. We run the system in the background.

  • Your name, logo and colours on every screen
  • Your letterhead on scripts, labels, invoices and emails
  • Your own web address and your own app icon
  • App store listings under your own developer account

Security and POPIA

Built so you can answer when a patient asks who saw their record.

Everything built in

Identifiers encrypted

ID, passport and medical-aid numbers are encrypted at rest.

Face ID sign-in

Passkeys on staff phones, idle sign-out, and two-factor by role.

Every action recorded

Prescribing, sending, disclosure and access are written to an audit trail.

Scripts a pharmacist can check

Every e-script carries a verification code that any pharmacist can check, so a forged copy fails.

Questions

What practices and pharmacies ask first

Do we have to switch everything at once?

No. Kiros Script works on its own for prescribers who only want safe electronic prescriptions. Clinic, Pharmacy, Patient and Facility add modules on the same patient identity when you are ready.

Whose name goes on it?

Yours. Your name, logo and colours appear on every screen, and your letterhead on scripts, labels, invoices and emails. See how white labelling works.

Who is responsible for patient data under POPIA?

The practice is the responsible party. We act as operator under a written operator agreement. The security page explains who does what.

Do our patients pay for the Health Vault?

No. The Health Vault is free for your patients. You pay for the Kiros Patient package that puts it in your colours.

Can we have our own app in the app stores?

Yes. Store listings are published under your own developer account, which Apple requires for healthcare apps. The packages page shows what is involved, and we quote the listings with your package.

How is it priced?

We quote each practice, pharmacy or facility for its own set-up. The price is worked out per prescriber, practitioner, practice, pharmacy or facility, and every quote includes VAT. You can cancel with one month's notice. Ask for a quote and we will reply.

What do the availability labels mean?

Available now means you can have it switched on. Available on request means we set it up for you when you ask. Coming soon means it is not available yet. Every product page shows its label.
